I've had the stuffed shrimp here before and really enjoyed it, but our last experience was pretty bad. The service was slow and the food just wasn't good at all. I order grilled Mahi Mahi and it was some of the most overcooked, worst fish I've ever had. My parents have gotten the fried crab claws many times before and liked them, but this time the claws were not fresh and not very flavorful. Something was very off during our last visit to The Fish House and I'm not sure we'll be back. Bummer.

This has become our favorite place. The fried and steamed shrimp, fried oysters, and stuffed shrimp are really good. My favorite is the seafood chowder; it's very rich and creamy and loaded with seafood. The deviled crabs aren't great - lots of filler and they tasted like they had been frozen. It is a little pricey but you get large portions. The food and service are consistently good.

This place was not great. The service was totally fine - I'm not sure why so many other reviewers had such a bad time. The food however, wasn't my favorite. It was just way overpriced for what it was. Sad. but true.

This was really good! The sea food was fresh and the dessert was wonderful, I had the rum cake! We had a group of 15 walk in and the service was great!

This place has been in Mexico beach forver but they recently went WAY up on the prices and in all honesty the quality of the food does not justify the price. They never have raw oysters anymore and the gator bites that used to be popular are also gone from the menu, leaving nothing special. at almost 20 dollars for a fried shrimp dinner there are WAY better options in the area now. Killer Seafood and shipwrecks come immediately to mind. The servie is good and the people are friendly but it is just NOT worth the new prices.

We like Fish House. We have been there several times. The service is always friendly but sometimes slow...it seems like the same 3-4 employees are always there - they need to hire some more folks! Food is pretty good; nothing spectacular but pretty good for a small beach town.

Decent restaurant. Good breakfast at a reasonable price. Lunch and dinner are questionable with lots of overpriced fried seafood not done very well. The specials can be ok to really good. Good luck! PS. That ain't gumbo!

I would like to go back and try this place for breakfast, but I would never go back for lunch or dinner We had dinner here and while the service was excellent, the food was very disappointing. The side items were cold and old. The calamari seemed like it was frozen. The food quality just does not support the prices.

Well I was told to try the Fish House from the hotel I was staying at in town. Woo man was that good seafood! The waitress was super nice and the owner even stopped by to ask how things were going! Oh I have to tell you they have some of the best "Bread Pudding" I have ever eatin. It was warm as it should be, fresh and just the right amount. Will definitely be back for more.

The service is poor. The food is mediocre and way way way overpriced! The waitress forgot our dinner salads. My friends ordered raw oysters and had to ask twice for hot sauce and crackers. I had scallops. $23 for tiny, overcooked, rubbery scallops! Terrible!

Need hot coffee that's not made in the room? Get on down here for coffee and a decent breakfast before you hit the beach. We had the Eggs Benedict and we were quite satisfied. Perfectly poached eggs and a crispy muffin- A-OK. He liked his home fries, my grits were rather bland. Friendly service, decent prices. It's not "posh" but it'll do!
